I’m in the process of preparing to study for the CPA exam and had a question about study materials. I realize you should use the materials that match your teaching style the best, but it is hard to determine from looking at websites what the different companies excel at. For me, I think having the textbooks and a test bank would be sufficient, but I don’t know.
So, I guess I’m wondering if someone who has used multiple sets of materials can advise if they think one is superior and why? Are they really all the same? Am I naive in thinking I don’t need the “OMG YOU’RE GUARANTEED TO PASS!!!” package??
I seem to be leaning toward Becker, but I’m worried it is only because it is the one I’m most familiar with. I don’t know, though – paying that much money seems a little bit ridiculous. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.
