Within the last 2 years I took FAR and AUD… of course failing both but due to my own inability to commit to studying. I would like to give it an honest effort this time since it’s been 3 years since I “started the process”. I already made a schedule to begin to study FAR which I will start on Monday (hopefully). Is is rediculous that as of right now I am completely nervous about STUDYING?

Also on another note: Do you have to pay the full price of the exam to retake the same section? Isn’t there some type of $50 retake fee or is that immediately after you take it?

I would be more nervous the second time than the first, as the next time there is the added pressure that you feel you ought to pass since you've already studied once before. Let go of that pressure. Many people put it on themselves and it doesn't help one bit. Study for each exam and each section like it's the first (and last) chance you have. GIve it your full effort. Study like you never saw the material before to be sure you don't cut any corners. If you think taking a section twice stinks, try taking a section 3+ times.

As far as the fees, I believe they stay the same. I can't recall, but it's something like $250 per section? Someone correct me, please. I only remember paying for the NTS for all sections and it was just under $1,000 for all four, but I know the registration fee is higher if you do it individually.

I have no idea how you passed all 4 sections in 4 months! I am dreading trying to take one in 3 months :-/ I made a schedule but it's difficult to follow since every time I sit down to watch a lecture or do anything my daughter comes in just needing to say something every 2 minutes and that's when they are not fighting and actually being good. Don't know how to go about this with 2 young kids that are involved in way too much activities 🙁
