Retake BEC… or move to FAR? What to do in this particular situation?

I took my BEC exam last month (August 8th) and I failed by 3 points. The material is still relatively fresh in my head right now. But like an idiot, I already have my NTS expiring for FAR and REG (10/2) and (11/13) respectively. I’ve been REALLY slacking on FAR for a few reasons, and at this point, I don’t even have all the lecture videos done even though I only have ~20 days left until exam time. I’ve only gotten through a handful of sections (3 or 4) out of the 30 total in Roger. What should I do in this situation? Should I just try BEC again in the beginning of October since I still have a lot of that fresh in my head? I think me being stressed about BEC is making FAR studying be very ineffective. I’m just not sure what to do. If I ended up failing FAR, i’d be out of the money anyways. I know this isn’t exactly the best schedule (guess that’s why they said scheduling and sticking to one is important), but i’m not sure how to go about this. Any advice would be helpful.

    AUD: Passed
    BEC: Passed
    REG: Studying

I think you should stay the course with a modification. Drop the lectures and just take notes while reading the book. Do the questions for each chapter, rewrite your notes, and hit the MCQ's hard. Make sure to understand why each question is right and wrong.

I have also just failed BEC with a 74. I am going to finish AUD for October, and nail BEC in November.

    CPA EXAM: DONE!!!!
    Ethics Course: Passed
    Application Mailed: 3/16/15
    Professional Conduct Exam: 97
    Certification Date: 4/2/15!!!

I would just sign up for BEC in early October while it's still fresh in your mind. Scoring a 72 means you just need to hit a few more MCQs and brush up on an area or two and you will pass. I'm not saying you won't pass FAR, but there's a reason FAR is considered a beast. If you don't feel prepared, consider it as a sunk cost and move on. You still have REG in November as well and hopefully you'll knock out REG and BEC.

    AUD: 98 (4/13)
    BEC: 84 (5/13)
    FAR: 91 (7/13)
    REG: 91 (8/13)

Stay with BEC. Info is still fresh in your mind. The more time passes, the more the info seeps out of your brain. I've stuck with each section until I pass it. Then move on to the next one.

    Licensed Florida CPA:
    B: 71, 73, 79
    A: 83
    R: 78 (expired), 77
    F: 74, 74, 80

    It's finally freaking over.

I failed BEC in July with a 72, but I'm taking FAR before I do my retake of BEC, mainly because I do already have my NTS for FAR, but also because I know doing FAR will help with the parts of BEC I'm really struggling with. I want to do FAR before redoing BEC again.
