Rescheduled to stop the panic…

With only 3 weeks to go until my originally scheduled date for FAR, I went into straight panic. I am only about 1/3 through Wiley, and haven’t been doing enough practice questions. So after a mini breakdown this morning, I decided that the $35 reschedule fee was better than a $400 fail. And now I feel like I can be fully prepared.

It made me realize that if I am even thinking about rescheduling, the self doubt would kill me come test date — so to anyone thinking about it, if you can afford to do it (without loss of a section), do it.

I been postponing my REG for the past six months and guess what? I didn't even open my books once. But when I learned it was no more possible to extend, that is when I started to prep like crazy, even a little too late. But the hardest part was getting started.

I must have paid some one's full-time salary with the number of times I postponed two days before my exam. It's not a problem so long as you know how you're going to use that time. I mean, if you have a schedule of what you need to get through to prepare for the exam and you're just not through it, postponing is a completely valid move in my opinion.

The thing is that YOU ARE NEVER GOING TO FEEL PREPARED. If you're doing the Wiley test bank or something like that and you're scoring where you want to score, and you've gone through everything that you need to get through, then you're probably going to be fine on the actual exam. Postponing is a valid move within a good study plan, but it's not a substitute for a study plan.
