Hello all,

I am scheduled to sit my first exam (FAR) this Thursday. I am currently debating whether or not I should postpone. I have completed the Becker review materials once, and I just started using NINJA mcq this week. I am currently only trending around 65-70% in NINJA mcq, do you think I have a chance at improving enough to possibly pass in the next few days? I have to work Mon-Wed but can devote all evenings to study.

Did you end up making a decision? Four days is a really tight timeline in my opinion if you are only trending 65-70%. You should be trending 85% or higher going into exam day. If you can postpone, I would recommend it. Then again, you're inside the 5 day window now so the fee is going to be ridiculous.

Can you get a day off of work? Easier said than done, I know….

Thanks for reminding me about the 5 day window… price to reschedule would be the price of the exam. At this point I am just going to go ahead and sit for the exam to get the experience. (with fingers crossed of course)

I was trending in your range. I think you could be fine. People who trend higher and usually using Ninja only. How did you do on the becker practice test?

Thanks TaxGod, that gives me some hope. I got 64% on the mcps in the Becker practice test. I think passing is a possibility, I just wish I felt more confident going in. I will definitely make sure I have more review time for the next exam!

I don't think I was ever trending above 70% except maybe for AUD. Since the price would be ridiculous now, I say just try it. There's always a chance you can pass it. That's how it was on both FAR and BEC for me. My coworkers always told me…you always miss the shots you don't take and I found that to be really inspiring when cramming on those last days!

Just wanted to thank you all for the encouragement. I crammed in as many NINJA mcq's as I could before the exam, ended up passing with an 82!
