I know the generalization of what is included, but I am not too sure which one to take next. I will take AUD in July then BEC/REG in August. September off, then October will be FAR and November will be BEC/REG. Considering everything else equal in terms of study time. Does anyone have any opinions?

    AUD- 96
    BEC- 84

I have not yet started studying for REG, but I will say that I'm studying BEC right now and wish I would have taken it right after AUD. There seems to be more overlap between those two subjects and AUD and FAR or FAR and BEC, which is the order I took those in.

    AUD: 82
    FAR: 78
    BEC: 75
    REG: 8/1 score release!!

Interesting, if I can use any type of overlap to my advantage then that would be optimal.

    AUD- 96
    BEC- 84

BEC has some overlap with AUD but REG takes probably 1.5 time compared to BEC to prepare. If you leave REG for last, you might be too burned-out to give it a due attention.

Ideally, in my opinion, would be FAR, AUD, REG and BEC. I been following this route and have not regretted. Having monster FAR out of the way is so great and energizing but having to take FAR at the end could prove disastrous.

FAR and REG require a lot of attention and TLC due to tons of materials in FAR and tons of rules in REG.

The CPA exam indirectly tests endurance both mental and physical and further it gets, the more difficult it gets to motivate self, stay on task, stay healthy (lack of exercise, junk foods, caffeine, etc) so make sure to take that into the account 🙂

I took FAR and then AUD. I originally thought I would study for REG next, but decided to go with BEC. Here are my reasons why:

1.) There seems to be some overlap between AUD & BEC so far. The module on corporate governance talks about the responsibilities of the audit committee and a little SOX, which is covered in AUD. Also, the IT material in the study materials for both sections appears to be similar.

2.) BEC takes less time to study for, so that is another section I can get out of the way quicker.

3.) REG probably scares me the most because I don't do well with taxes. Some say that you will already be burned out by the time you reach this section, which may be true. However, I feel like I will be more motivated to press through this section if its my last section. I will be able to keep the attitude that once I finish REG, I am DONE.

I know that everyone is a little different, but these are just some of my reasonings.
