So I took AUD and had only put in about 15 hours of study time. I think we all know how that will come back no matter how much I tell myself I think I pulled it off miraculously. The positive is that after 3 attempts I beat BEC. I’m moving on and trying my luck with REG next since AUD is just not my cup of tea currently (still holding out hope that I passed

How do you know AUD is not your cup of tea when you only put in 15 hours of study? It seems like you may be rushing through all of these hoping you'll pass instead of putting forth real study effort. I could be wrong because you didn't mention how long you studied for BEC, but you may want to just buckle down and put forth an appropriate amount of effort now that your clock is ticking. I would be worried to continue that path because the 18 months will go back quickly if you have to take each test 3 times. Congrats on passing BEC!

CPA Exam - Finally DONE (November 2014)
    BEC (08/10/13) 80
    AUD (08/24/13) 65 (11/13/13) 85
    FAR (04/12/14) 81
    REG (07/19/14) 69 (11/29/14) 87!!

I haven't committed fully to them, but recently for BEC I studied for about 50-60 hours so I'm going in the right direction.

I hit a burnout sort of along the way and so I'm kinda looking to start new in January and February. I figured it would be best to attempt Reg and then FAR with hopes of beating one of the two at least. Then leave March and April to reasses which ones to take at that time and finish. I'll admit studying has always been an Achilles heel of mine, but I'm figuring out what works and beginning to focus on it now.

I really do hope somehow you pull it off but going from 50+ hours for BEC to 15 hours for AUD is actually the opposite of moving in the right direction 🙂

To pass all 4 in 18 months burnout is almost guaranteed. Pushing through it is the only option.

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

Massachusetts CPA (non reporting) since 3/12.

I should have mentioned my AUD NTS was set to expire and I couldn't push it again. I had pushed it once during my studies before BEC because I didn't feel prepared enough and Indecided to push it back and retake BEC. Which worked out, but then I ran out of time and since I already paid to take it I figured I'd at least do some recon on the test to better prepare for my next time.

Just be warned that for FAR and audit you need to commit atleast over 150 hours..otherwise the odds might never be in your favor…

Forget the hours…too many people target a certain number of hours and think that's the ticket. Some people might need 150+ hours for FAR, some people might need around 70 hours and still pass. At the end of the day, when you're answering your practice MCQs you'll know whether you're ready or not.

Study enough that you actually feel like you can pass. When you reach that point you'll have a shot. Focus more on quality study time and less on hours put in.

    BEC - 78
    AUD - 75
    REG - 74, 79
    FAR - 75

You have to buy a ticket to win the raffle.
