Currently a busy parent studying for the CPA while working FT at a large firm. I recently came across a CPA study hacks video and would like to know if anyone has tried the 2-hour study techniques and has seen major improvement.
In summary, you learn new material for 1.5 hours and re-review for the last 30 minutes for a total of 2 hours of study time. The rest of the day you do “mini sessions” of questions/flash cards/reviewing notes.
For some reason it’s hard for me to wrap my head around not listening to the lectures first or even at all. I used this method in my last study session and I feel like I learned a lot and my score was not far off my usual scores when I view the lectures first. Just would like to know if it actually works.
Also, if anyone has tips for BEC — do share!
