Yes, very off topic and extremely random 🙂 Ever since taking Marketing classes in college, I cannot understand why Girl Scouts start selling cookies at the beginning of the year. I mean, this is when everyone makes their New Year’s resolution to lose weight, stop eating junk, etc. I would think their sales would be so much higher if they sold them in the fall. And wouldn’t that make more business sense?

Well, I'm a Troop Leader for my daughter's girl scout troop and even I can't tell you why we sell them only after the first of the year but we do have another fundraiser in the fall where we sell nuts, candy and magazine subscriptions. Maybe since we have that one that's why we only sell them in the spring.
