I have seen Sundays open in the past. My NTS expires on Sunday, July 1 and no sites are open. I called Prometric and they said they will only open if NASBA requests it. I called NASBA and they said they won’t request it unless a ton of candidates request a site to open.

Does anyone have experience with this?

yeah – I believe every Prometric location is different.

If the one closest to you is closed, try a different one in a bigger city (if you're willing to drive farther in order to take it on Sunday.)
