I have a major problem knowing which tables to use when dealing with problems present value and future value problems. They are used in different situations but at the same time every situation seems to fit both. And honestly I think it is actually really simple but something is just not clicking in my head. I feel that once it clicks, these problems would be as easy as 1+1. Or maybe I am wrong.

Anyone good at this want to attempt on making it click for me? I really want it to click! If not, share your tips or your way of remembering it? Thanks!
