I’m getting practice scores in the 80s for some topics… 60s in others (Becker and Wiley). My FAR exam is 5/28. I am wondering how these practice scores will compare to the real exam. I never tracked my practice scores before… Should I be worried?

Well your more seasoned in the exam experience than I, however, I wouldn't take a lot of stock in “practice exams.” In fact to be honest, I don't think there is anyway of gauging your actual score relative to how your scoring on MCQ's in a consistent manner. Obviously if your getting 50's every time your working the MCQ's its bad, but if you truly understand the questions, know why the correct answer is correct and the others aren't, you'll be just fine. Others may have a different opinion but that is just my experience. I actually welcome getting an MCQ wrong in study mode because it will likely prove to be a better learning experience than simply reading the book. My tactic is to write down the answer AND look it up… it seems to stick better that way.

    Happy studies!
