Started sitting in May 2002, on and off. But since 2008 I've been nonstop and my scores are....
AUD - 39, 48, 56, 65, 68, 73, 76!!! (Finally passed in Oct 2011!!!) Becker, NINJA, & Wiley

@jomarie if you slept in and were up an hour ago then I'm really behind today.

@peanut I agree AUD is tricky – did abecker progress test for the whole thing and my sampling was crazy low

My plan today is to review the sampling section over again then take another progres test or two and work on sims. I have a week and a half til D Day and its my first exam. I'm nervous and after the time I've already spent on AUD I know I don't want to come back to it.

Well I am definitely in since I took yesterday to rest as I have a nasty sinus infection coming on. I kind of wish I stayed home in bed today! I am starting to get really nervous about FAR I have two weeks left and I still have to make it through the MCQs for F6-9. I am starting to wonder if I should move my test but then I will just be even busier at work. Guess I just have to suck it up for the next two weeks!!!

@JoMarie – Hope you are feeling better. I am defintiely in… 14 more dyas and now it is definitely time to review the Roger Cram in depth. I am going to focus more on my weaker areas now as well. AUD is going down this time around!!!

Welcome !! And best of luck to you on your first exam. I agree sampling is tough. For me, A4 is a tough pill to swallow, I have to really think about the appropriate audit procedure for completion, existence , etc. I would totally take a look at the most recent AICPA released q's and also try the AICPA sample test (although, it did seem easy) just to get a feel for the whole thing

@ yankee – No problem, we have to be a resource of positive vibes for each other because sometimes our families don't really understand what we are going through with these exams. So it causes friction some times within our families. Good Luck with everything!!!

I'm in. FAR next Wednesday (finally!). I am feeling a little guilty because I might take Sunday off to watch the Niners game (I mean, come on, this is history), but Saturday will definitely be balls stuck to those freaking walls! Trying to finish up F9 mid week leaving a week to rewrite notes and take practice exams till I drop. Here goes….glad to get this out of the way, I'm already having dreams of never opening the text again.

Then I may take a day or two off and take on Audit…taking that the last week in Feb

Just out from FAR!!! Good news, I am not shacking or mad' so I guess that's a good sign.

As for the rest of the day, I'm going out with my hubby and son for the afternoon. Tomorrow will start with BEC. Any suggestions??? I'm using Becker…

I am debating on if I should use my time to watch the FAR cram I have from Yaeger before my exam in two weeks. Anyone have any thoughts? Or should I focus on MCQs instead. I was thinking watch a lecture do the questions type deal.

RMM, I feel like I passed up the nervous stage and finally came to terms with the fact that I will do my best, and not expect anything. Though I can't say I am absolutely calm! I just keep reminding myself that I am only human, and can't expect myself to remember every little detail and process – and am hoping my fellow candidates don't either to keep the curve realistic. Be sure to complete many progress tests and simulated exams, they are the closest thing you will get to the real deal (so I have heard).

When I realized I was about at your point I was freaking out too, it seems like everyone on here was way ahead of me (and they were freaking out too!) I posted a topic about it a month ago and got some good advice. I think you can find it under my profile. Do what you can on the remaining topics, but to me F8 and F9 were like a breath of fresh air, much more conceptual so you get through the questions more quickly. It might help because I audit governments too, but I was just happy not to have to touch the calculator every 5 seconds!

@rmm91909, applied to your work. Got a response that they're not hiring. I'm assuming since you said it was a senior accountant that left, I probably do not match the qualifications for a senior. I guess I'll have to meet with a headhunter!

Just took FAR last Friday and started REG yesterday. Doing Reg1 MCQ tomorrow then Starting REG2 lecture on wednesday.
