Ok, I’m planning on hitting FAR head on this week. The rematch is already scheduled for Jan 17th. Just wondering if I should just concentrate on MCQs or rewatch lectures. What would you do?

Good job studying!! That is a bummer about the dishwasher though. I feel like if it isn't one thing it is always another in my life so I hear ya there. I am on the last lecture for FAR with Yaeger and my eyes are shutting. I am going to stop and watch it tomorrow on my lunch break.

That's annoying! I hope it gets fixed soon. We hang one of our recycling bags from the dishwasher, and we didn't realize it, but once when we turned on the dishwasher there was some plastic from the bag inside the dishwasher…we had a sort of mini fire in the dishwasher.

That was fun 🙂

I was short one hour on Sunday, and haven't been able to make it up. Trying to do that today. It is taking me awhile. I am listening to the lectures while taking notes, really trying to pay attention. I keep stopping and starting. UGH. I hope everybody keeps pushing through-have a great day!

I finished the Yaeger homestudy today for FAR! Not going to lie this is when I get nervous. I don't mind watching the lectures but I go into panic mode when it comes time to work the problems.

Thanks yankee! I am doing well hope all is the same for you! I came up with topic ideas for the blogs here at work as that was the first step. I am just waiting to here back for shareholder approval and then will get going I guess! I went with outsourcing of manufacturing and how the US is lagging on exports of manufactured goods. With no guidance from anyone here at the firm that is all my burnt out FAR brain could come up with! haha

I'm actually missing these power weeks…I got myself so ready to start start studying BEC again and pass it in January that I'm almost missing not having to study it now…almost 🙂

Well my week has been at a standstill. Monday – Jackie (my older daughter) was home sick. Luckily she gave me the chance to study, so I did get in about 4 hours. And my dishwasher broke. A glass broke inside the washer, my husband got the glass out but it's still not working. Repair man is coming over on Saturday. Tuesday – Brooklynn (my younger daughter) woke up with a fever. Took her to my Dad's so I can get to work, since I already missed Monday. But of course, I was late going in and had to leave early since I had to make sure I've given myself enough time to pick Brooklynn up from my Dad's and get to the daycare in time to pick up Jackie after school. Today (Wednesday) – Brooklynn woke up at 4:30am with a fever. I had to beg my husband to stay home with Brooklynn cause I needed to get to work to finish some things that are due tomorrow (Thursday) and Friday. He took her to the doctor and the doctor said, everything's clear (ears, throat, chest, etc.) He thinks it's her eye teeth coming in. I really can't wait until these damn teeth come in. This has been going on and off for a couple months now with her being in pain with these teeth. Now I'm planning on staying home tomorrow, depending on how the night and morning go. Still I think I've only gotten the 4 hours in so far. I'm going to really have to make it up this weekend. Right now, I need to work on another return that's due tomorrow. I think I smell an extention on this one. LOL

I finished all that I had set out to do yesterday. Did I do it well? Not sure. In my notebook where I map out what I want to accomplish, I have been writing, “Pay attention”, I did this because I start out doing really well, then after 1 week, I start to get antsy on watching lectures, and want to begin the mcq's, etc. I need focus. My whirlwind holiday party stuff for my hubby's work starts today and that is probably the culprit. Of course all of these parties necessitates me bringing some food. UGH. So, not feeling optimistic the next 4 days will be productive, but I will try. Hope you guys have a great study day!

Honestly, I can't imagine how tired you are!! Brooklyn's teeth have been so rough coming in. Poor thing. I hope you are home today and at least not having the grind of driving in to work, etc. Also amazed at what you have gotten done in spite of your week. Take care!

@yankeeaccountant – I have been watching the lectures as well and taking notes. I have completed several MCQs practice and as before one of my major weak areas is Audit Sampling. I want to knock out as much as I can this week because the next 2 weeks my be iffy. I am going home for Christmas (Tennessee). My plan is to do a lot of studying during the day while everyone is at work. LOL. Happy Studying to everyone and Yankee you are so correct. We are both going to knock AUD out the box this next window!
