So, I am looking to try and make up some time. …What I really want to do is stay horizontal!!! Oiy! I have some vitamin C tablets here. I'll have to take a few. Hubby said this morning he feels 100% better since I told him to take Tylenol Cold. It's been working for me. Well today, is it a blessing in disguise? Jackie, my older daughter, is home sick today and I'm staying home with her. Study day? Well since I don't have any work here to work on I guess so!!

@yankee – glad you got to spend some quality time with the hubby. My hubby and I have been passing eachother in the night nowadays. But we are working towards a goal together. So we don't have to driving all over the place for work. He changed job sites again this week. Now he's driving 2 hours to and from work……ugh!!!

Yesterday I worked on 2 mini tests of deferred taxes. Didn't do so well on the first one scored a 64…..the only thing I don't like about the new Wiley Testbank site is the way they grade sims. On that mini test I got 8 out of 10 MCQs right, and messed up on one sim since I had no clue of what they were asking. I swear I stared at the screen for at least 10 minutes. Then the second mini test I just worked on MCQs and scored a 90.

Anyways since I'm home today I'm going to work on more MCQs, I think I'm going to stay from sims for now, and see where my weakness is. Happy Studying everyone!!

Well that exam was not fun I can say that for sure! I don't expect to pass it was really hard and the sims left me laughing because that was about all I could do to hold in the tears. Then on the way out I obviously just wanted to get in my car and call my husband but my finger print wouldn't read. It legit took 50 tries and then when it did go through it pulled up a picture of an oriental female. The woman was looking at me and asked me if I was who I really say I am. All though I ad gone to the bathroom and it pulled up my picture an 1.5 hour earlier! I was just ready to cry at this point but luckily it finally worked.Overall I am not sure what to do at this point. I am just kinda being miserable but I will get over it in a couple days.

Ok, that does go down in the books as “weird stuff that happens at prometric”. Maybe your reply should have been, “actually, the name is Bond, James Bond”!

All kidding aside, take a deep breath. I seriously don't remember feeling confident on my sims on FAR either. Actually, didn't feel any different on the sims on all 4 exams. But, I passed two. I think that if the mcq's are shrouded in mystery in terms of how they are graded, then the sims are rolled in more mystery, sprinkled with a bit of “let's make them sweat” , and then some”let's test their bowels”, and then a finishing touch of ” we don't even know how we grade these, let's see how we feel today” and they put a cherry on it and they have sealed our fates.

But I know how you feel. Let it out, roll around in it–I say be like a pig in mud! Then remember this quote:

I know I have posted that before, but it seems like good old Ralph was writing about the CPA exam to me. You didn't say how the mcq's were, so I am hoping they were ok, so keep the faith!!!

Thanks Yankee! I love that quote! The MCQs were eh I mean overall they weren't horrible but their were definitely some that I had no idea on but I feel like that is normal. Who knows!

Jomarie! Glad to hear your studying is going well. I am not sure what I am going to do right now. I was toying with idea of trying to get my audit back at the end of February. I lost it in November. I am just not sure with tax season if this is the best idea or not. I am almost debating just walking away for a little while but I don't know. This has just been a miserable 2 years with this exam! Starting to feel like I am missing out on life. blah!
