    @MyLifeisCPA, Corporate does have a lot of details. I felt the REG research questions were tough compared to the other exams. A helpful hint for the exam when you get a research question, is immediately distinguish if they are asking about Corp or Ind. it'll save you a lot of time searching! They try to word them all crazy so you can't tell which one they're talking about. Tricky jerks. Studying for AUD sucks. It makes me soo tired. I'm going through the Becker final review book today.. I'm not going to watch the lectures for the final review, just read and do the MCQ. I really want to poke my eyes out <> <>

    AUD 81 (X4) Previous scores 59, 72, 72
    REG 80 (X3) Previous scores 59, 60
    FAR 75 (X2) Previous score 67
    BEC 79 (X2) Previous score 58

    @Peanut, Thanks for the helpful hint!!! I will defintitely do that, All I need and want is a 75. lol. I think REG is far worse than AUD eventhough I got a 74 on AUD. Hopefully the score release will show a passing score for AUD.

    @Peanut,

    You are so right, the research q's in REG are the hardest. I got one yesterday that I started searching for, couldn't find it, worked on the other sims, came back and found it with about 5 minutes left. (Well, I hope I found it –who knows?!!). No poking out your eyes!!! Although, you are right. There should be a warning label on the Audit material: Warning, this material may bring out an unnatural desire to poke your eyes out!! You got this—last dance, you are so on a roll!! Gooo Peanut.

    @MylifeisCPA,

    I wish you took my exam yesterday..the b-law always makes me think twice ugh! I am betting on good news on Audit for you and you will have good news on REG as well. You are ready to kill it!!

    ~~~
    The morning after…..eeks!! I hate the feeling “after”. I don't know my ass from first base (I know I am repeating myself, but hey, it is a good saying IMO) Did I, Didn't I……..the questions are spilling around in my head. Done, can't change the past. Thank god for my cyber family!!
    Two weeks left guys, finish strong, no coulda, woulda, shouldas, keep it up and you are going to dominate your exams!!! Have a great day!!!!
    @ Peanut: I've been using Becker for reviewing AUD. I haven't switched it up or anything because it was so pricey that I thought if other people passed with it, I could too. But maybe I'm wrong….
    It's hard studying for something you've already failed. I've been rereading the chapters, doing the MCQ, not listening to the lectures much. I won't listen to the Final review lectures but will reread the book and do MCQ too.
    I know AUD is your first time, but how did you re-study for the exams you had to take again?
    When are you scheduled to take AUD? Good luck!!! Sending lots of good vibes your way!!
    @dousugar, This is not my first time taking AUD. Got a 59 last time! Studied 5 weeks for it. Don't know what the hell went wrong. Thanks for sending your good vibes. I sit on February 25th. My first attempt at AUD, I did not read anything! I took “intense notes,” and re wrote my notes. Which worked very well with REG..But I quickly realized how you study for one section, might be completely different from how you should study for a different section. First attempt with AUD, I also only went through Becker MCQ once and Wiley MCQ once (never really mastering any review material).This attempt, I watched the lecture, read the chapter, then did every MCQ for that chapter..Went through all 5 chapters. After that, I re read all the chapters and re did every MCQ in Becker. Once I felt comfortable with Becker, I moved on to Wiley, did all Wiley's MCQ once. Now I'm just reviewing!
    @Yankee, thank you!!!! I'm really losing motivation, I need to slap myself. Push through, and finish strong!
    @MyLifeisCPA, Any AUD advice? Like how not to try to find a rope when you should be studying, lol.
    AUD 81 (X4) Previous scores 59, 72, 72
    REG 80 (X3) Previous scores 59, 60
    FAR 75 (X2) Previous score 67
    BEC 79 (X2) Previous score 58
    LOL@ Peanut! What helped and hopefully helped me this time around was I did a shit load of MCQs (LOL), I think I learn better by doing the MCQs. I also covered up the answers before I looked at them (WILEY). I then would read the questions and I would then try to formulate an answer without looking at the actual answers. Once I looked at the answer choices, I would also go through the process in my head why the other 3 were wrong before choosing my answer. It took me a long time to finish a 90 question MCQ on Wiley but that helped me to store the information in my head.
    We will see how that process worked next week during Score Release. Good Luck on your AUD exam and I am starting to freak out about REG!! So many tidbits to know and remember.
    Losing any and all motivation now. Talk some sense into me!!!! Another 2 months and I might be done. I think was it getting to me is I never studied during tax season and I'm feel like I'm being pulled in a zillion directions at once.
    Last night I felt so down in the dumps that I didn't even study. I just went to bed hoping that I would feel better after a good night's sleep. Well I still feel the same.
    Started sitting in May 2002, on and off. But since 2008 I've been nonstop and my scores are....
    Oh no you didn't JoMarie!!! Noooooooo. Nope. No disturbances in the force now. I can totally understand that studying while knee deep in busy season would suck, BUT imagine this summer camping whenever you want to!!! What about that promotion???!!! You are a Mom–so naturally you are an awesome multi-tasker (Sorry guys, but it is kinda a prerequisite of being a mom!) you can do this. And to boot (haha) tax is your thing, so you can just put yourself into overdrive. You ARE going to nail BEC and be a CPA in 2012. Done. Book it Dano.
    You are an inspiration to sooo many on the forum, and have encouraged so many when needed, that I know everybody is going to agree with me: GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO JoMarie!!!!! Do it. Do it. (My Ben Stiller impression)
    Do you have BEC notecards from Becker? I think I may have them, I can send them to you..I thought notecards for BEC was really helpful. Shoot me an email if you want them.
    You are so close, just go grab it now!!!
    JoMarie, it's okay to let yourself have a down day. But can you smell the finish line? You're soooo close. Once you pass that last exam, this torture will have been worth it. A summer free of studying for exams!! Finish strong JoMarie! If it means taking a day off from studying, or so, for you to come back refresh and ready to dominate, then takes those days off!! You've got this Jo! One day at a time. One foot after the other. You've got our whole cyber family rooting for you! I also have a really good BEC formula sheet, it was the only notes I took for the entire exam and it's just a couple of pages..I might be able to just scan them and email them!
    @Yankee, I know I'm a P in the A, and I've asked you this a milllllllllion times. But, I'm trying to do that Gleim free trial. I don't think I'm going to the right section on their website. Do I have to download something? And, is it just a couple of quizzes?
    Thank you everyone!! I needed the kick in the @ss. I know what I need to do, it's just a matter of doing it. I did take last night off. Can't really do that again tonight. But tonight I schedule myself to work from home. We'll see how I feel after my parent-teacher conference with my daughter's teacher tonight.
    @yankee – I never usuaually use the flashcards, but maybe I'll take you up on that offer.
    @peanut – I think I'll take you up on that offer with the formula sheets. I'll message you.
    Thank you everyone!!
