Just finished Chapter 1 with Roger in BEC. I also did a practice session on WIley'stest bank and scored a 75. Woot!! Woot!!

@ Peanut: I do horrible at everything related to procedures & evidences. I always do bad at SIMS too. I will definitely use the research function during that part but it's still so tricky. AUD is definitely my beast too!!!
@JoMarie, sounds like you're off to a great start with BEC! When do you find out your score for FAR? You're so close to the finish line!
@jenuno01, Thanks for the advice. I'm going to do those simulated exams this weekend. Today I'm going to work on the Becker final review book, with the additional questions. AUD is gross.
@dousugar, what are you using for materials?? Did you switch it up after your first attempts?
Sooooo.. Had my first AUD nightmare last night. In my dream I could only answer 20 MCQ then I ran out of time! I could see the last minute of the clock ticking down, I just starting choosing answers and bombing through it. Never making it to the SIMs. When I finally pass all 4 parts, am I going to have post-acute-nightmares?! Like a junkie has post acute withdrawals?! Ugh!
@ Peanut, you are going to be fine. With those scores on your practice exams……….nothing to worry. For the SIMS, the authoritative tab was super helpful. As for the time, I left the testing center with one hour left. I reviewed each testlet twice.
My BEC, uuugghhh….re-reading chapter 3 has been very helpful. I just switched to Wiley, and I am scoring 70's on MCQ's…few more days and I hope to pass on the first try (as everyone else).

@ Peanut – I'm supposed to find out next week right?? I hope I'm getting close to the finishline. This has been the longest 10 years of my life. With going back and forth whether or not to finish what I have started. Now I have an opportunity of a lifetime at work, and I can't pass it up. The only way I'll get it is if, no when I pass these exams and get my license. I already have my experience and education in. Now it's just pass FAR and BEC for the second time.

Yankee's sitting right now guys. I am so anxious to hear back from her. I'm hoping and praying this is a good test experience today and she's finally done. She's worked so hard for so long. Such persistence and tenacity… she's an inspiration like so many of you. When I think about giving up and walking away, I feel like such a slug because some of you have had the courage to really stick it out. Makes me a complete pansy if I quit now.
@katiekanton, the 25th! I've been at this since October 2010. I'm ready for this to be over!! I just want to read a book, for pleasure! Or… or… orrrr… Yep I can't remember what I used to do before I started this grueling journey LOL CPA exam killed all my good brain cells

@Peanut – I feel good about the Bus. Law portions. I am still struggling somewhat with the Corporate Tax portion. I think I understand Inidividual, Partnership, Gift & estate Tax. Corporate just has so many little tidbits that you have to apply, so I am focusing on that a couple of days this week. How is AUD studying going for you?
