Ok, who in with me?? I’m planning on taking down BEC in July. I’m not going to lose another whole summer to these exams, I’ll settle with half but not whole. Just downloaded BEC NINJA audios to my iphone and BEC books. Going to start this weekend with some lectures. Let’s go get them!!

2 weeks of June left – not too much, not too little. One week at a time… trying to get my momentum going.

Scheduled FAR for August, but if I can power through the full course faster, I'd love to fit REG in before the window closes! Any advice?

I just switched to Roger's review and it's been helping a ton! This will be my 3rd time with FAR, and I just missed it last time with a 72…

@Peanut, I'm using the Wiley book, Yeager videos and Wiley Testbank. I figured I would go through all the questions Yeager assigns in the book, go over the ones I got wrong in the first round again and then go over all the testbank questions again…for the 4th time haha

@EEL that is the tactic i am using as well. flag those questions in the test bank and keep going over the ones you are getting wrong!

I just really started Studying Yesterday. Not since May 23rd. Ughhh, who has heard of someone's slump lasting a month? I just freakin wasted 1/12 of the year. And the funny thing is that it lasted all of 1/12 of a second. Before, I used to make the most out of my day as in 10 hours + studying. I think I am going to look for a job again. This 4 hours a day plus rest of the time spent eating is putting me below the level of obese loser. Maybe I need more structure again.

Anyway, I am loving Blaw in regulations. Just not the stupid corporate and partnership taxes. ughhhh =(

Today's studying is okay. Never give up and never think it is too late!

Studying for AUD. I am also a full week ahead of schedule, finishing up chapter 5 this week with my exam on July 17th. But I am in a class in which BEC begins immediately after chapter 6 of AUD, so I am trying to figure out whether to spend the last 17 days only reviewing AUD, or whether to try to get the 1st chapter of BEC in so that I am not so far behind when I start that section. A little worried that I may not have as much review time as I would like with BEC at the end of August.

Also, knowing that I am ahead of schedule makes it harder for me to focus and push myself to keep on top of it, even though I know I will have time issues coming up if I don't. I am finding that slump also – would rather read this blog than study! Is it summer? Is it AUD?

@momto5, it's summer AND AUD. AUD is the worst for me to study for… I've been studying AUD for the past 6 months. I just want my life back! Also, I live in New England, and our weather is terrible 9 months out of the year. I just keep looking outside…hoping to one day be free. haha. What are you using for AUD?

I'm here with you guys! My husband is golfing and then tailgating before the White Sox game and I'm on a date with FAR! I've discovered my motivation and it's anger. I'm just pissed off about my entire CPA exam and it's really helping me stay focused! I'm pissed at myself for letting this go on as long as it did.

Tonight, I'll be taking my anger out on Inventory and Fixed assets. Then this weekend, Bonds, Leases, Pensions and Deferred Taxes. Life doesn't get any better than this guys!!!

@Peanut – I am in Wisconsin, so have the same “9 months of cold weather and 3 months of beautiful summer” stuff to deal with also. It has been gorgeous lately! I just keep thinking……”if you put in the time now, you can enjoy NEXT summer!”

I am using Becker supplemented with NINJA notes (which I haven't looked at TOO much yet). I am taking a CPA prep class, so I have to follow the 1 chapter per week plan, basically. Also have the Final Review from Becker to fit in. What about you?

@momto5, I am using Becker & Wiley online test bank. I also purchased for 10 bucks the AUD SIMs from cpareviewforfree.com. Although, I really don't like CRFF* MCQ questions they offer, and I wouldn't really recommend the site. I am actually very satisfied with the SIMs I purchased through them.

Hi All!!

here at the library trying to focus on Roger CRAM. I have watched 1.30 hours already, but I am super sleepy….

I live in south FL, and was planning on going to the beach today's afternoon, but the weather sucks. We get 3 months of unpredictable rainy/stormy weather and 9 months of beautiful sunshine……..

Anyway, the plan for the weeknd is to be done with Roger so i can spend the next 2 weeks working MCQ's on Wiley.

How many SIMS do you get for your 10 bucks? Are they pretty much the same as Becker, or is there a wide variety of different ones? Have you used them for any other sections?

Jomarie – I feel the same way. I am doing like 3 final reviews b/c I am just sick of wasting my life away! My goal is to be bored while I'm taking FAR on 7/13! I want to leave nothing to chance and go out with a bang!
