Ok, who in with me?? I’m planning on taking down BEC in July. I’m not going to lose another whole summer to these exams, I’ll settle with half but not whole. Just downloaded BEC NINJA audios to my iphone and BEC books. Going to start this weekend with some lectures. Let’s go get them!!

I am struggling this week getting back on the horse. I wouldn't trade those 2 weeks off for anything because it really allowed me to relax and have some fun but man is it hard to get back in a routine!!! I have been forcing myself to get at least a couple of hours in a day but hoping it gets easier because I really need to pick it up and get a lot done!!

To all those considering audio, I have it for every section except AUD and I highly recommend it. I was skeptical when I bought the first one but I love it. It is really easy to listen to and he repeats important things several times. It has allowed me to squeeze in extra studying while driving, cutting grass, cleaning the house, etc. I am so glad I have it. Well worth the money (especially now that it is on sale!!) and I think it is helping me focus in on key concepts. Hope everyone has a great, productive weekend!!!

I have noooooo motivation what so ever and it is killing me! I have two and a half weeks until my AUD retake. My recruiter hasn't called me for any temp jobs, so I should be getting in a lot of studying every day. But I really don't need a lot of studying everyday! I feel like I study better working full time. I get in the same amount of hours, but when I'm working I concentrate more during the only hours I can study. If that makes any sense…. Starring at this $hit all day long is killing me. I've already completely gone through Becker, and completely gone through Wiley. I have one more chapter to read in Becker, and that I'll have read the book cover to cover twice already. What else can I do?! I clearly don't need that much MCQ help, from my score report. So I'm just going to work the cpareviewforfree SIMs. But even that won't take me 2 1/2 weeks! I'll rewrite notes and do the Becker FR, but again…I have so much time! I just can't concentrate on this crap anymore. This is my fourth attempt, but it's my third time in a row studying for the same section—which is the most boring section there is!

Just checking in…..

This is the first time in my CPA study history that I am ahead of my study plan. I'm 1 full chapter ahead so I'm just going to do progress tests tonight and tomorrow and look at weak areas.

Peanut, I kind of feel like you in some ways. I'm staring at this material and I know everything. I'm not really sure what I should do differently. I feel like I know it. I'm using Wiley more so that I don't memorize the Becker questions and I got Jeff's audio to change it up. I'm considering purchasing new materials so I'm not looking at the same thing….

I'm getting a little nervous because I don't want to screw up but I kind of feel like I'm in a rut. There's only so many times you can practice the same questions and SIMS….I am going to do a practice test on Sunday and see where I'm at….

Checking in – Didn't study for a few days because I was dealing with stuff. Started back up again today. I am so behind. I am almost done with module 10 – inventory. I really need to make the most of my time. If I can't give myself a week of review I will be pushing my exam back. I'd rather give myself time to pass then do what I did last time. I have the summer off and this exam is my #1 priority. I have no excuse not to study since I won't be working.

Ahhh!! BEC restudy is NOT going well….well it hasn't really been going at all. Last week was crazy and I had a bunch of things pop up and now this week I'm feeling completely unmotivated. I wanted to retake BEC around July 9th and retake FAR at the end of August but I feel like this would be pushing it….maybe I should retake BEC end of July and retake FAR beginning of October?

@EELCPA, I completely understand the feeling! Wish I could have someone to slap me around and motivate me! What are you using for BEC? And what are you doing differently this time?
