Hi I’m new to this and I was wondering which should I do first to pass the CPA exam.

Should I buy review course to study then register for the exam or should i register for exam and study and prepare for the next exam?

    Thanks for your feedbacks!!

I'd review, then register…but I'd make sure my NTS paperwork was ready to go so that I'm not bogged down with the details of pulling it together later.

I registered for all four tests at once….then felt rushed at the end. (In my state the NTS is good for 12 months). Had I registered for each exam as I was prepared to take it, I could have saved myself a lot of money.

Register first. If you keep studying as something that is open ended you'll never finish.

I registered for all four from the start

You should register for the exam right away. It took 2 months for me to get my NTS when I first applied. Also find out how long the NTS is good for in your state and decide on how many exams you want to register for based on that. In LA where I live it's good for 9 months but it isn't the same in every state. Once you send off your application to take the exam you can decide which review course you want to take. I chose Becker but they're by far the most expensive. My boss recommended it and told me he would pay for it after I passed so that's why I chose it. Then after you've made your choice say goodbye to your social life for the foreseeable future.

Register then study….you need your exam date to effectively study and know your time table

Why be afraid of what we do not understand?
