Passing before tax season

Ok, first off I hope I don’t jinx myself by posting this. I am taking Audit next week, and if I pass I will be completely finished. Unfortunately, tax season is also about to rear its ugly head. I work at a firm that is verrrry tax heavy so many long nights and weekends are still ahead. I feel like I won’t get to enjoy passing (once again hoping not to jinx) until April 16th. The “what will I do with my extra time” thought just keeps getting shot down in my head.

Just a depressing vent, anyone else in similar situation?

You will pass. And you will find time to celebrate it before April 15. I know tax season is long hours and weekends but if people can find time to study during tax season (and many do) you can find time to let your hair down.

Besides its better than having to retake in May and wait until June to celebrate!

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

Massachusetts CPA (non reporting) since 3/12.

You will get to enjoy passing by when your clients ask if you are a CPA you can say YES! It has been interesting, I have had more new clients ask if I am a CPA in the last 3 months than ever before. It is great to say, I am waiting on the licensing board. But I can't wait for the license to show up. so I can say yes!

You will find a way to celebrate! Focus, and pass and then celebrate.

I take Reg Feb 15th. I think the office is going to be working already that saturday, I guess I have a good excuse for not being there, it's gonna be a long tax season if I fail.

    Licensed CPA!
