Does anyone have a link or know the passing rates broken down by review course? One would think this would be easy to find but I cannot find it anywhere.

    REG: 80 (4/1/13)
    BEC: 87 (5/29/13)
    FAR: 82 (7/31/13)
    AUD: 63, 69, 86 (1/3/14)

The pass rates for each course are all self-reported and are all in the 80s according to the courses.

    Agree with Jeff!

    Yaeger says 88%

    Roger says 88%

Becker says “double” the pass rate

    CPA Excel says 87%

Users really have no idea how they measured those statistics, or if they were independently verified. Plus, if you choose a course that doesn't match your learning style, it could potentially be pretty worthless, regardless of the pass rate.

@Lilla, I have already been using Becker and am not looking for a review course. However I was looking for some optimism on getting my FAR results back. I am having a hard time getting motivated for AUD as I am only through 1/3 of the material and take the test on the 28th (gone for a bachelor party for 4 days too :/ ).

AUD also seems easier than the others but I was looking at the pass rates and they are lower on average, so I know it isn't easier.

AUD was the easiest for me (far ans away), so don't let the pass rates scare you if you feel that it's easier!

Easiest and hardest varies a lot person to person, so like CareBear said, don't let it scare you! Looks like your chances are “double – or more”, so based on last quarter's rates, that means that Becker claims you're 96.16% or better chance of passing. 😉

I thought AUD was comparatively easy, too. I'm still waiting on my scores…but I think AUD is more about logical analysis than remembering a plethora of facts. Yeah, you have to know if a review gives positive assurance or not, but it's more important to be able to think through the logic of the “which is best” type questions. AUD's questions can be tricky, in that more than one answer is acceptable, but I would agree with you that the content doesn't seem as difficult. But…the ones that you, CareBear, and I found difficult were probably a breeze (by comparison) to the 51.92% that didn't pass last quarter!

I wonder of there is a “did you use the 10 Point Combo Y/N” on their research questionnaires. 🙂

Not sure about other courses but for CPAExcel, if you enter your test date in your plan using the online course, they will email you later asking for filling a survey. I never did it but I assume that's roughly how they obtain their rate.
