I paid for my last section’s review materials today, bought my FAR materials. I already paid for my exams, so finally, I no longer have any “contingent liabilities” on the horizon regarding the CPA exam. Obviously, I still need to do the work…been pumping out MCQ’s all day for AUD, it’s finally starting to click.

I wonder how much of a deterrent the cost of this whole exam really is for some people? When you think about it (at least the route I went) I’m paying $700 per section (materials+NTS)…that’s not cheap. It’s a weekly paycheck for me, which means it kind of pisses me off. I can’t wait for December and I can actually see my family again. “Meh, sorry honey, I ruined T-Giving, I swear Christmas will be better, got a free turkey at work though” I’m just anticipating that whole conversation..

$700 out of pocket per section…Bastards.

FYI, Yaeger rocks the Casba. Becker for BEC, and Yaeger ever since…I’m a bigger fan of Gary for AUD than I was for Phil for REG (kinda scares me that I might like Audit more than Tax). FAR scares me with how I’m jamming it into 6 weeks, but I’m gonna be ready to rock-n-roll for that one coming off a big AUD win. Anyone get the impression someone’s trying to build himself up? Oh well, that’s a problem I’ll deal with in 10 days…AUD is all the concentration now. We’ll see what happens.

I’m just happy the Yankees lost (yeah, I know, that was out of left-field). But, I hate the Yankees more than paying exorbitant exam fees. Yes, I had to look up how to spell that word…
