I took two audit courses this semester and have spent probably 60-80 additional hours on my CPA prep materials (Roger, Ninja Audio, WTB.) I had planned to take AUD as soon as I could and re-submitted my transcript to the Texas State Board. A professor told us the turnaround on this was pretty quick (48-72 hours), but, over a week later, I am still waiting for my permission to sit.
I had wanted to take BEC this month also, but am increasingly feeling like that would be a bad idea if I can’t get AUD knocked out within the next week or so.
Point being, I am losing interest in the material. I half-heartedly (finished the whole thing in just under an hour) took a WTB practice exam and made an 85 on it a couple weeks ago. I’ve started watching the Business Law Roger lectures….as opposed to watching the AUD ones a third time…just for a change of pace. I think there is definitely a law of diminishing returns as you continue studying the same material past a month.
Anyone else experience the same wall while unable to take an exam (for whatever reason….red tape, personal circumstances, etc.)?
