So I have 7 days until my rematch and hopefully final exam…AUD! I have never utilized a cram course and feel like I may need to invest in it in order to really nail this last exam. I have scored a 73 and a 66 on Aud and wanted to know if you feel like the Roger Cram would be worth getting for the final days.

I have completed all MCQ in the Wiley TestBank and have scored consistently over 80% on all topics except Evidence and Reporting (about 70%).

Do you think it would be worth the $200?

    BEC - 60, 71, 79
    AUD - 73, 66, 87!!!!! Yes! I am done!
    REG - 74, 76
    FAR - 75

Yaeger Review for all except my last AUD score (Roger)!

For me, Audit is my lowest scoring exam. I have gotten a 68,62 (ouch), and 74. The last time I used the Roger Cram. For me it did two things: kept me engaged–this was important, because I totally hate Audit!!— and he still teaches in his cram. He was an auditor back in the day, so I feel like he is really in his element. He is very detailed and filled in alot of holes for me. I was disappointed I didn't pass, I really felt like I knew the material. In fact, I was stronger on mcq's and it was the dreaded sims that did me in.

I felt like my scores weren't that strong before I had used Roger…you on the other hand, seemed to have scored higher, so maybe at this point maybe a cram wouldn't be worth it. The cram is about 8 hours long. You get a book with condensed notes (I think his notes are fabulous) and about 10 to 20 mcq's for each chapter. He also supplies the AICPA questions and sims for 2009,2010, 2011 (I could be mixed up on the years). Typically, the consensus on this forum is to keep hammering mcq's, does listening to lectures really help you? The other consideration would be have you checked him out on Youtube? Do you like his style? Maybe you could find some of his lectures on your weak parts on Youtube? He did a free lecture on reporting last window…maybe he put it on Youtube? Just a thought.

Last but not least….for me, I think I would do anything to pass, so I might just ignore the consensus and just go for it. But that is just me, only because this torturous path has taken me too long and if I could spend $200 to avoid paying another exam fee, then I might just chance it. All in all, I didn't help you one way or another—sorry to be a pisser!!!

Best of luck to you with Audit. I hit audit in less than 2 weeks and I need this to be the last!!!

Thank for the info and yes I used his homestudy course this time around. I previously used Yaeger and although I thought yaeger did excellent I felt like I needed another avenue.

Anyway, I went for it. The problem is I will receive the book by Monday which is a bummer since I wanted to do it this weekend. I am going to take off of work whichever day I get it to pound it out.

My hope is that since it will be sooooo close to exam day things really stick!

Thanks again for your responses and hopefully 3rd time is the charm.
