Number of questions to get right to be bumped to the next medium or hard testlet

    I’m guessing that no one knows the true answer, but how many questions do you think you have to get right to go to a hard testlet after the 1st testlet? And how many right to stay on a medium testlet?

    My friend who works at the AICPA says 80%.

    Thought it would be higher. Interesting. And is it safe to assume that because the pretest questions don't count towards your grade, they also do not count towards the percentage for moving onto the next testlet?

    Really? I though they didn't count even if you got them correct. Is this true for the bonus sim as well?

    Actually they dont even grade the tests, the just pick every other one in the order received and pass it, that's why the pass rate stays so constant. My cousin Vinny works at the AICPA and told me that so I know it's true.

    Ooooh sorry guys, but hearing that it takes 80% of the questions right to move to a hard testlet, isn't such an obvious joke. It's a legit question. And I'm sure the answer is somewhere in that ballpark.

    It was actually a pretty good question.

    To answer the question:

    1. Nobody here knows.

    2. It isn't the number of questions you get right, but the total point value of the questions you get right.

    3. Don't worry about. It has no impact on your studying or on your exam strategy.

    @Givemesleep- So how do they come out with a score? Do they just pick the scores out of a hat?? If so, then that means it's pointless to study since they're not really grading the exams anyway, right?
