    Hello NINJAs,

After being on this journey on and off for 3 years having passed aid, far, and bec and loosing credit for far and bec I am going to knock this out by the end of 2017. I loose aid in November so I’m going to pass all 3 by then. I am going to try to incorporate the NINJA framework which I haven’t before. The biggest thing in going to do is take detailed notes. I have the gleim book for reg and probably going to get ninja for a testbank. My question is should I take notes as I read through the material or on just the mcq I get wrong? If I take notes while reading how do I not become too detailed and not write everything in the book down which will take me forever to do? And do I keep writing things down while I’m in the nonstop mcq phase? And once I’m done with the nonstop mcq phase should I go through all my scribbles and write down everything I think is important? My handwriting is real bad and I tend to not be able to read my own writing coming back to it a few weeks later. Thanks ninjas.

What has worked for me is taking notes on mcq. I take notes on one's I get incorrect and even some I get correct. I also go back to the book to find the section referenced. I find that taking notes while reading does take forever like you said.

    I had a similar approach as cpatroll77

FAR: 80 (Gleim, Ninja Notes, Ninja MCQs)
REG: 87 (Gleim, Ninja Notes, Ninja MCQs)
BEC: 87 (Gleim, Ninja Notes, Ninja MCQs)
    AUD: 8/27/16

Interestingly enough, my approach has changed as well, but it involves NOT taking many notes.

I used to go through all the MCQs and take notes on anything that was fairly new or foreign to me or a concept I was having a bit difficulty understanding.

But I have determined that this method is far too time consuming and ineffective overall for me…I would have pages and pages of notes that ultimately only tired me out or infringed upon my quality MCQ time.

My new method of going about the exam is literally pounding out MCQs day in and out, then using the NINJA PLUS videos or NINJA book if there is an area I need a bit more understanding in. Also, there is definitely a secret method that I consider a shortcut and allows me to save even more time on MCQs, but I want to keep it top secret classified information.

But my new method of studying has cut down note taking from 30+ pages to only about 5-10 pages MAX for an entire section of the exam.

I have tried doing so many mcqs and it has worked and it also has not worked. I end up just memorizing the question. I am really thinking that jeffs way of writing notes and rewriting them will absorb the info much more. I am just wanting to hear from ninjas that that way has worked. This is the story I keep reading and thinking this is the way to get it done.
