First, I just wanted to say that I am so thankful that I stumbled upon this site. A lot of encouraging people on here going through the same thing I am and your words have been very helpful. I am an MPAcc student/graduate assistant (first semester) and currently doing Becker fast pace course b/c it is part of my school requirements. I am studying for the BEC portion currently and am working on B2. My school requires we complete 90% of the homework to pass the course (pass/fail non credit) so I have been doing that mainly. I am averaging between 55-60% on my first run of the homework. I think the very first section of B1 I even got 46%. I have always had good grades so I am not used to this and trying not to freak out. I do not use the book at all, even though I feel I retain very little from the lectures. Then after the first run through I go back and try to study what I missed but when you miss that many it is a little overwhelming. I guess I would like to ask two questions. First, is that low of a percentage on your first run through normal? If yes (or no) what percentages do you guys usually get right? Second, how did you approach going back over the text after you had already been through it. I guess it just seems overwhelming because I miss so many from all over the place and I feel like I might as well just reread the entire thing. Any advice would be much appreciated. Doing becker, taking a full course load, on top of my hours working as a GA I just want to make sure I am maximizing my time. Thank y’all!
