Hello everyone

I found this forum while I was googling about information on CPa exam.

I need answers for few questions plz before I started

I’m planing to get the CPA by the end of 2013

I found many review materials for CPA, I like Roger materials specially the audio but I’m wondering if this material is updated.

I know that Backer Is changeable from year to year , is it the same case with Roger ??

Which part I should start with ?

In your opinion what are the major differences between Backer and Roger ?

Yes, Roger's material is updated every year just like Becker.

Which part you should start with.. well.. I guess it depends. Most people take FAR for their first section because it covers the most information out of all the sections. Once you pass FAR, you open the 18 month window to get the other 3 sections done. It's also recommended that you could take Auditing before the changes come in July 2013.

Roger is a very lively and energetic instructor. I like his teaching style. I probably wouldn't recommend Becker unless you can get it for a discount through your firm or your company (assuming you work) There are people that prefer Becker and there are people that prefer Roger.. in the end of the day, I like Roger's teaching style because it keeps you engaged and not bored.. vs Becker.. well.. it's a lot of “circle this… highlight this…” for the presentations.. this of course is just my opinion.
