    Hi Everyone who read this,

It’s been 6 months that i’m living in US and i decide to take CPA exam!

what do you suggest?how should i start?

i check different packages Wiley, Becker ,… and some of them are really expensive for me besides i’m not sure if they are appropriate for a foreign Accountant or no.

    Hi Elnazm,

I would recommend you actually do a little research before you start ….

For me, I hate reading chapters, so pretty much I would not purchase a review book with plenty of text…it's not like I am going to read the chapter anyway (And…I don't take notes).

Also, take advantage as a foreigner that knows a second language. There are PLENTY of CPA material and on-line resources that is already written in your home language. It's sometimes much faster to read something in your own language than in English. (And you can probably find cheap study material).

Thank you so much for your answer, Actually i'm really slow in studying in my own language let alone another language.

For the first step what do you suggest?

how about yourself what and how did you study?

For me, I knew I wasn't going to try to finish my exam in 12 months. I looked for a review course that wouldn't expire – I ended up with CPAExcel. I think their material might be information overload, but if you use it right, you'll definitely pass your exams.
