I just decided to give these exams a quick attempt. I am completely new to this environment and realized it is a lot materials to cover. I am willing to begin with REG and AUD this year. Any in puts on how to approach will help. I have 2 jobs and recently married; my partner encouraged and inspired me to take it. I am lazy with reading but understands most accounting/financial concepts. What can I do to breeze through these exams?

Nothing will breeze but if you will consistently put in around 20-25 hours per week you'll be able to pass. Good luck.

Breeze? No….we all have been trying to figure that out, has not worked yet. The examiners know we (candidates) want to do as little as possible and pass so that's why the pass rates are what they are because some suckers (including me) decided to go the guess route with minimal study (or thought I was studying) and the consequence is frustration with more test fees. The review course folks have figured it out as well that if you don't really study you will be renewing their product or somebody's product, which equals more money so……breeze is not the answer. Study is the answer like mia said.

Just trying to drive the point home that if this test was a breeze then almost everyone would be a CPA. There would be nothing special about it.
