In need of an opinion. I’ve been studying for the CPA exam since 2012 and have only taken the FAR exam and failed. When I was finally ready to get back on the bandwagon after a few months off to deliver my son, I went back to studying FAR using NINJA. I’ve purchased the NINJA Ten Point Combo and have about 11 days before my software expires. I have no problem purchasing the software for another 45 days but I’m feeling a little burnt out with FAR now. I’m strongly considering switching to another part but I’m not sure which part to begin studying. Generally speaking, all 4 parts must be completed regardless so I could pretty much just pick a part and get started but I’m just not sure as to which one I want to go with. I’ve heard that some parts of the exams intertwine like FAR and AUD; REG and BEC. Is this synopsis true? Where should I go from here? Should I try to tough it out with FAR or switch and pick it back up after getting a pass “under my belt”?

Although FAR is a pain, I would definitely try and get that one out of the way first. From my experience, FAR took the longest to study and prepare. Once you pass one of the other sections, the timer starts ticking, and I don't think you want to get to the end of the window with FAR left to go.

Although it is a pain, I would definitely do my best to get FAR done with. As far as intermingling of sections, FAR and AUD definitely go off of each other. I would recommend taking AUD after finishing up with FAR. I didn't think there is too much overlap between BEC and REG, but everyone's test is different and everyone's experience is different.

    Just my two cents!

    F - 2/15/2014 - 85
    B - 2/26/2014 - 88
    R - 4/1/2014 - 83
    A - 4/21/2014 - 95

You are this far into FAR, don't stop now. No matter what section you are studying for, you will get burnt out on it. FAR definitely has the most info and for most is the most difficult, so it is best ot get it out of the way first before the closk starts ticking. I know most people say that FAR and AUD have alot of overlap, but I also found some overlap between AUD and BEC.

    FAR 7/8/14 - 88 - Becker live course
REG 10/14/14 - 82 - Becker live course, Ninja notes and audio
BEC 11/25/14 - 88 - Becker live course, Ninja audio, Wiley book for extra questions
AUD 2/3/15 - 94 - Becker self study, Ninja audio, Wiley book for extra questions
