I started this CPA Journey in July of 2012 with the hopes of being done with all four exams by now. However Ive only passed BEC in AUG and have failed AUD twice. My 18 month window is ticking and am sitting for REG at the end of the month. I dont feel ready for it. Any advice on how to beast the remaining sections? I dont want the 18 month window to roll up on me and lose credit.

I am having such a hard time finding a job & I am confused as to weather to go back to get my masters to fulfill the new educational requirements.

Ehh just feeling down 🙁 back I go to pound those MCQ for REG

    BEC - PASSED
    AUD - PASSED
    REG - PASSED
    FAR - PASSED

sorry man but you are not working

so for sure you have time to study more than you study now

still 10 months and am sure all you need is to study more

so do your best and i am sure you can do it in less than 10 months

My advice would be to “adopt the hermit lifestyle”. Make studying your life, get the NINJA audio and notes. Rewrite notes, listen to audio every chance you get, drill MC and write out why the answers are wrong and why they are write and repeat that. Do so many MC you want to puke.

Cut out as many distractions as you can so you can focus. If you are not working wake up early and study. No sleeping in just because you can. Make good use of all of your time but take breaks. Go outside, get fresh air do something completely different than sitting in front of a computer when you take a break so you come back fresh and make the most out of your studying. You can do this, it might take adopting the hermit lifestyle but you can do this.

From personal experience I can say really push yourself. I have sat a total of 18 times 19 will be in a few weeks for hopefully my final exam REG. I can say my first attempt at this exam I was not trying hard enough and not pushing myself and I didn't pass. I know that the minimum people say to study 20 hours a week, and that's truly a MINIMUM. I usually try for 30+. I need to do more then minimum to pass. I read NINJA every chance I get I do non stop MCQ now I'm passing!

Good luck! You can do this

    A - 61, 91!!
    B - 78!
    F - 76!!!
    R - 71, 73, 74, 69, 77!!!!

    Finally done!

This is my 2nd attempt at the exam, I had two parts passed (failed many) and I stupidly quit, big mistake. Now I'm back and with a vengeance!

I had the best luck with flashcards for REG. Know and understand the exceptions to the rule and the exceptions to the exceptions. I also had a difficult time with business law. Again, flashcards. Break it down to tiny pieces and study and restudy. I also made it a habit of getting on a treadmill and walking while I did the flashcards. It gave me energy and focus that I didn't have while sitting in front of a computer. Also, record yourself reading the memory cards. Or even sing them! I made an audio (which has since been destroyed) of me using a different accent with each flashcard. I ended up memorizing the topics by accent. Lifetime learning credit is forever an irish accent.

On FAR, I tried to develop a strategy similar to the “Memory Palace”. It's a technique used to memorize cards. I had a difficult time with Nonprofits and governmental and that seemed to help a lot.

Good luck, and you can do this. Don't think about the countdown, just think about the next test.

    B-74,84 (Expires 1/31/14)
    A-79 (Expires 7/31/13)
    R-72,83 (Expires 4/31/14)
F-80 No more expiration worries, I'm Done!
