    REG – 83 (Expires 08/31/13)

    FAR – 57 (4/26/12, knew I wasn’t ready)

    BEC – 74 (7/2/12, just got score)

    AUD – waiting… (7/25/12, last day on my NTS, 95% I didn’t pass)

Just graduated college and about to start work October 1st at a Big 4. I have nothing to do the rest of August or September. What would your plan of attack be for my retakes? I would pass my 1st one so my 18 month window would start ticking.

I could make an argument for them all.

FAR – hardest one for sure, will need most time to study for it

BEC – barely failed, mostly still fresh on my mind

AUD – felt kinda ready but raped me, probably didn’t pass, most fresh on my mind

    You can see my dilemma.

All your suggestions would be great!

I start work at a Big 4 right around when you do. My suggestion would be to start studying for FAR. I'm studying for it now and I can't imagine studying and trying to retain all of the info while working. So I would get as much FAR studying in as you can before you start work.

Another route based on what your situation is would be to take BEC as soon as you can then begin your FAR studying right after that (ideally before you start work).

    FAR - (8/2012) 87
    BEC - (11/2012) 86
    REG - 73 (retake July 2013)
    AUD - 71 (retake April 2013)

I'm not a 100% sure but I thought you could only sit for a section once during a particular testing window. If that is the case and you feel like you can cram for FAR and be prepared in the next twenty days, which I can say from experience is tough just because of the breadth of the material. Otherwise, I would probably try to review for AUD and BEC both over the next six weeks and take them pretty close to back to back in October, since both are fresh on your mind and switching back and forth between the two will better prepare you for the exams. Then you could spend a couple of months prepping for FAR, start sitting in January and still have three opportunities to pass before your REG expires.

    A- 7/19/2012- 83

Take FAR before the end of this window……….If you are studying full-time you have a good amount of time. Then wait for your score….FAR score before starting with BEC.

Okay, I'm probably going to take FAR at the end of September.

Which exams should I sign up for? I hate paying for these damn things. $800 is a lot for a poor recent graduate.
