Need input on scheduling

I recently received my NTS for all four parts of the exam.

I will be scheduling Audit for August 15, and will have until January 23 before the NTS expires. That gives me about a little over 5 months (20.5 weeks) to schedule the remaining parts.

Judging by the Becker lectures, it seems that the difficulty in terms of material length is FAR,REG, BEC

How much time would you guys allocated to each exam?

I am thinking FAR=8.5 weeks, REG=6.5 weeks, and BEC 5.5 weeks.

    I would love some input.

I schedule as I go so I don't know if this is any help. Also I don't know if you work full-time or not. I could only do one section in Becker a week b/c I also work. Here's how I took them:

    FAR- 9 weeks 1st time

    REG- 8 weeks

    FAR- 5 weeks 2nd time

    BEC- 7 weeks

    AUD- 6 weeks

Wow! it didn't seem like a long time till I typed it out. Anyway, hope it helps!

    FAR 69, 74, 78
    REG 69, 69, 69, 82
    BEC 75
    AUD 76

That seems about right based on what I've seen others posting. I'm not familiar with BEC, but FAR and REG look about right. FAR may be a bit long, but it will give you a cushion.

Also, you might remember to try to remain flexible if a failure crops up. (Not trying to be negative) but so many people fail at least one section. Be prepared to schedule retakes if necessary. It can be more efficient in the end to let an NTS pass and lose the $, than try to squeeze everything in if you're not ready.

You'll know a lot more after you take your first exam. I tweaked study habits, time frames and test taking strategy after my first sitting.

    Best of luck 🙂

@bluegirl – I agree, after you take your first exam your study habits definitely change b/c you know what to expect and that may be the case with every test you take. So far I've only passed BEC on the first try; still waiting on AUD.

    FAR 69, 74, 78
    REG 69, 69, 69, 82
    BEC 75
    AUD 76
