I’ve tried REDBULL, but I end up staying awake until 1 or 2 am and have to be up @ 6am..Same thing w/ coffee..

Anyone has a good combo for energy that will still let you sleep like a normal person??

I swore off caffeine about a month ago. Try a brisk walk, it works WONDERS!

Try some green tea. Not as much caffeine.

I agree with mla1169. Once you give up caffeine, it's amazing how much energy you'll have throughout the day. The tough part is dealing with the headaches and grumpyness for the 3-5 days after quitting.

A shower works wonders for me. Wakes me up and I feel refreshed and ready to grind out a few more hours.

Fresh air (going for a walk or drive) works great, as well.

I use an herbal supplement called Rhodiola. It helps settle your nerves and makes you more alert while improving concentration. I also took up Zumba to get that endorphin high – after an hour of heart pumping dance, I feel like I can conquer anything.

but just like redbull, if you take one too close to when you want to fall asleep, it'll keep you up. 6-8 hours before bedtime should be safe (but each person's tolerance may change that.)
