I took AUD over the weekend. This is the 3rd part of the test i have taken. I took FAR in July and passed with a 83. I took BEC in September and failed with a 68. By the time i found out i failed BEC i was already 2 weeks into studying for AUD so i kept on studying for AUD. After I left the test room for AUD, i got the same feeling that i had after i took BEC so I am under the impression that i failed AUD.
My original plan was to start studying for REG and take it in the middle of January, but now I am unclear what to do. I do not find out if i passed AUD until November 22nd. I cannot afford the two weeks off from not studying because I work full time at a tax firm and tax season is coming soon.
Someone has recommended that i retake BEC since the more time that goes by the more I will forget. Also, REG isn’t GAAP and may create some confusion. I was looking at the availability for BEC and they had an open time slot on November 23rd. This would give me 16 days to do a review for BEC. I am a little skeptical though because until November 22nd I am out of the office at clients for interim audit testing. This means working later hours and more time driving. I feel like this would negatively effect my studying review for BEC. That is one of the original reasons why I figured i would start studying for REG since if i missed a day or two it wouldn’t be the end of the world since i would be taking REG in the middle of January.
I am sorry for the long and annoying post. I just have no idea what I should move on to next. I really appreciate any advice you have to offer.
Thank you
