My Story!
Well I’ve been on this CPA road off and on since 2006. I’ve taken Regulation 2x with a score of 46 and 69. Audit 1x score of 45. I’ve never taken BEC and FAR. The last time I took a test was November 2010. After each failure, I’ve felt like someone just punched me in the stomach and knock all the air out of me. My next emotion was to just quit and never look back. Then a few months go by and I think, “I can do this, I like accounting, and if I want to have more opportunities, I HAVE to pass this exam!” This is why its been so long, between the long hours of work , the failed attempts of the exam, and finding the energy to shovel myself up again, I once again I’m the road to battle the exam. I know that with persistence I can do this. I have been an Another 71 member for a few years now and I’m now going to reach out to this great community for support. I know that many of you have the same stories and it’s nice to know that I’m not alone. I don’t have any friends who are being challenged by this beast and I really don’t like telling my co-workers about this endeavor. Just for the sake of not having that extra pressure.
I’m in the process of studying FAR. I have Yaeger videos and Wiley Test bank. Shortly I’ll be purchasing the NINJA notes. I’ve read a lot of good reviews and I think it will be a good addition to my toolbox. I have a test date in November.
So I’ll be reaching out to the Another 71 gang from now on to fight this beast. I read the posting and see the camaraderie that this group has and I would be like to be apart of it.
Thanks Jeff for all you do!
