I have been lurking around this board since my first exam which dates back to November 30th of last year… I sat for Audit and failed with a 74… It was a disgusting defeat, however, I put my time in and passed in January of 2012.. REG was the the next beast I tried to conquer in the same window as Audit and I failed again… This time a 69 if I remember correctly.. I was down that I would have to spend the next blackout month devoting an additional 50+ hours studying for exam #2… Why not take BEC at the end of May?… June rolls around… I am blessed with a REG victory!.. I will pat my self on the back and thank all of you who lowered the curve due to tax season… I was blessed not to have a job which demanded 60+ hours of my week.. As for BEC, the exam which is supposed to be the easy one out of the four, another miserable fail… I’ve put my time in in topics that I absolutely despise, Information Technology, COSO Everything, Corporate Goverence, Econ Everything…. Y’all get the point… I get it and I finally accept it… These exams can only be passed by putting your time in.. There is no simple way around it… A great man once said, ” Learn to love losing” this being in the context of gambling in Las Vegas… Almost the same idea, but not quite.. I have given up on any social life I have had, playing music which used to be my number 1 priority, and exercise…. I will be PASSING BEC in two weeks and will pass FAR on my first attempt in October or November, whenever I feel I am most comfortable to pass this exam… FAR will be an absolute b*tc# but I have come to the realization that if this was an easy profession, it would probably not be lucrative.. Good luck y’all just had to vent cuz life has been stagnant for almost 8 months and I am ready to have my life back… Pass this exam people.. It’s what differentiates us from the weak-minded… the heater.
