I am so upset at my self!!! I signed up for Jan 28th instead of Feb 28 and all this time I thought its Feb 28th. I was just getting ready to print my NTS and prometrics receipt when I noticed the date!!! I just froze!! Turns out I lost this testing window and I have to reapply for a new NTS.

I am signed up for Bec on April 7th..(double checked and yes it is April 7th) What should I do? Continue to prep for Reg and take it beginning of April or take it at the end now.. after all my exams..

Any suggestions? Also as for my NTS for all the other exams, do you think they r still valid?

When I read this post last night, immediately I double-checked the email confirmation I received after scheduling my test online, then printed it right away.

This morning when I woke up, I received a reminder email from Prometric pertaining to my upcoming test on 2/28.

Did you not get anything like that before Jan 28th?

I know it might sound crazy, but try to apply for another NTS ASAP (if you haven't done so yet)!!! If you are lucky you'll get it tomorrow.. see if you can schedule the test this Fri.

If, for whatever reason, you won't be able to take the test on Fri you will use that NTS in April.

Thanks everyone. I already mailed the application this morning. I doubt I will get it before Friday.

So my plan of action is somewhat like this:

Study for Audit/BEC for the next 2 weeks. Starting March 14 I start reviewing Reg again up until beginning of April and take the test first week of Arpil. Then take the next test end of April or beg of May.

Now the dilemma is which one to study for..BEC or Audit. I recently took an Audit class in school and am still familiar with the material. BEC seems like a mix of cost accounting (which I hv not done), Econ, ITM, Finance and all of these are challenging for me.

Any suggestions

Ahh I've gotten my dates wrong too! Worst feeling ever!

Regarding your post above, I would study Audit while you still have some of the information fresh in your mind, but give yourself until mid to late May if you can.

Go for AUD. At least you have some of the material in your head already. If you don't have a business background BEC may be very difficult for you. Lots of memorization.

Aud it is! I will start Aud today and will do it till Mar 14. Mar 15 onwards back to Reg. Hopefully will be ready to take Reg first week of April. And then Audit beg of May.
