Hey Guys!

First time post here and its exciting! As many of you know, the scores were released today. We got smiles and frowns, you know how it goes. I ended up with a 74…. yeah a 74… just one point away from success! This will now be my third attempt at the auditing section… I want to try to use my time efficiently so the question is should I just keep reworking Audit for the entire month of March or move to another section while continuously doing audit MCs and sims? What would be the best use of my time? I really dislike those month long gaps…

Sorry to hear that!

The general rule of thumb since you have the “fortune” of not having any exams passed, is to work on getting that first one done. Reset your scores for MCQ and start hammering away for 4 weeks, and retake April 1; it's not that far away!

Do a practice test or 2 and see what specific areas were lacking and go through those chapters again, and start rewriting your notes! You can do it, you're awfully close!

As Jeff says, you're not just 1 point away and only need to do 1 point worth of studying– you are 75 points away, so you need to do 75 points worth of studying (and since none of us really know how much studying gets us to a 75, that should mean studying as much as possible, I think).

So you need to do everything you did to get the 74 all over again, plus however much more work gets you at least the extra point.

I say schedule AUD for early April and study intensely again. Maybe get some fresh materials in case that helps you refocus.

As Jeff says, you're not just 1 point away and only need to do 1 point worth of studying– you are 75 points away, so you need to do 75 points worth of studying (and since none of us really know how much studying gets us to a 75, that should mean studying as much as possible, I think).

Thanks for all the support, I honestly would have never imagined to be one of the 74 people… I thought it will be a pass or a great fail lol Well I guess its time to hit the books again. Thank you for making me feel better! Just wondering if there is anything that I should add to my studying materials I have the following: Ninja blitz, ninja flashcards, Becker. Anything else that I should get that could be useful?
