the MCQs were definitely doable, I studied to the point of being able to have a reasonable answer for 80% of them but my test was EXTREMELY tricky and not straight forward at all. Even the first testlet was tricky. Someone taking this exam would have had to know every single nuance about the sections to get these answers correct.

First testlet was pretty straight forward. Took me about 25 minutes.

Second testlet was medium except for a few questions out of left field. The questions didn’t get longer but more geared towards smaller topics. Not sure what they were asking for a few of them.

Third testlet was freaking stupid. I remember struggling with this one.

SIMs were a joke as usual (not in a good way)

Someone mentioned the word “idiot” in a thread about “rocket science”.

No idiot could pass the CPA exam. True, the CPA exam may feel like rocket science to some people. It very much depends on the background.

But still, if you know any true idiots who have accomplished that, please feel free to share.

yeah, jeff banned that account and every other subsequent account I've made within days (I wont mention which ones) even though all I did was be nice and helpful. Not that I blame him, he wants to keep the boards fairly civil so he doesn't lose users due to overzealous guys like me.

I found out this morning that I passed REG with an 81 so I'm all done. From failing accounting 101 to being a cpa, I'd say that's quite a journey I made.

I'd love to stick around and chat with you guys and help other would-be cpas but jeff keeps banning my accounts so I won't be sticking around. It was great knowing you guys and have a wonderful life! CPAs 4 life, that is something that no one can take away from us 🙂
