Taking FAR on Monday and I just can’t seem to retain anything. Any advice for the last test. My brain is fried…. Thanks

My advice is that u probably know more than u think u do at this point. Give ur brain a break…it has a lot of info to retain. Regarding the exam, the MCQ for FAR are actually easier than the study questions are. As for sims, allocate at least 2 hours for them (or a little less) because they have a lot of detail. I mean they're 40% of ur grade…so don't treat them lightly. And use the AL if u can.

I agree with @rana_cali…most people feel unprepared but if you've put in the time and went through the material, you know more than you think. Definitely give the SIMS ample time. It looks like you've both taken tests before so you know what to expect. Keep up the hard work – you've been sucessful in the past and you will again on Monday! Don't try to overdo it this weekend, stay positive, and conquer!

I agree that you probably know more than you think. Do as many MCQs as humanly possible from now until Saturday. And Sunday, re-read notes and get 8 hours sleep. Good luck to you!

In the same boat. I'm trying to figure out what the best topics to cram before Monday. So far, i've gone back over topics that I think would cause the most issues for me like SoCF and Consolidations!!

I hear many people saying know your NPO and GOV'T… but those aren't heavily weighted compared to the others, so i'm confused…

I'm just hammering out MCQs until then and having a lot of healthy fats for my brain!

As so far what I know about FAR:

-Focus on MCQ. Then you have the knowledge to research SIM.

-Focus on Gov and NFP accounting concepts.

About the other things, just make sure you are familiar with.
