Lambers?

Sooooo, yesterday I had the pleasure of enduring a 46 minute phone call (sales pitch) from the Lambers company for the CPA review. I’ve researched them before, obviously since they contacted me, but has anyone ever used them? They sound good, price is near 1800 (with a 400 dollar discount) if I use them so 1400 for all 4 sections. I’m pushing the most towards Yeager because of the “classroom” and hands on enviroment and Lambers also claims to do the same also with some live classes. They use the “adaptive” testing enviroment so it coincides with that of the real test. So after your first testlet, whatever topic you scored the weakest on, the test will throw more of those types of questions as you which is why most of us fail this exam.

Does anyone have any solid insight as to how their review stacks up to Becker, Yeager, Roger? Any information is much appreciated, thanks!

I fell to their trap before, Lambers I'm talking about. They called me right on time when I received my 3rd BEC score because I was thinking Becker was just not right for me for BEC. I thought about switching and the sales from Lamber rang me up just on time…Convinced me and I paid for that BEC course. My conclusion is that it didn't help me. What helped me the most was rewatching becker lectures one more time and supplemented with Wiley Test bank…After I have received the course CD from Lamber, and worked through a little bit of its questions…I just gave up using it, and right now the CD is just sitting in my room and I m about to throw that away.

Ultimate summary for Lamber : Don't WASTE your money, if it is helpful, it doesn't need those sales to call you up and making sales. Think about it, do Becker, Rogers, Yaegar make sales call to you?

They still call me even though I'm perfectly clear that I've had my license for over 6 months now.

Maybe they think I want to relive my “glory days” of studying…..

    I agree with kobebryant168

They called twice and the girl was upset because I didn't buy what she was offering, and I asked her to call me back in a month and she did………….I bought the testbank for REG and never used it. Why I bought?? not sure why LOL

Anyway, I recommend Wiley tb 100%. I used Becker all the time supplementing with Wiley tb for all parts. I used Yaeger CRAM for FAR re-take and Roger CRAM for REG re-take.

Roger is energetic and keep you awake.

Cindy from Yaeger was great for FAR .

Becker reads the book with you and adds a little explanation (sometimes).

    Good Luck with your decision!!

Thanks guys, I knew this seemed a litte “pushy” to me. I had never received a call from any other review course before.

I've watched Cindy from yeager and she's great. I think I'm going to go for Yeager for my review, thanks again!
