I need to vent…..my 7 year old daughter has been a royal pain in my bum lately. I know it’s cause “Mommy’s studying all the time”, but what she said to me today…..argrrrrrrrr. She asked if she could have something and I said no cause money is really tight right now with my husband not working and paying for these exams. So she said “oh maybe you should work more, so we have more money.” I guess it’s not enough that I work full-time and study pretty much full-time to advance myself for my family. Sorry about the vent but I know there are more parents out there feeling the same thing.

Painting the baby's room can be a little time off for studying and stuff. I'd use that as a type of therapy to destress. Just remember to paint before you put in the new carpet.

Try this challenge. 2 teens with severe emotional challenge act up the week before each exam to the point I am so distracted or have to put away materials to calm them down. i.e. severe severe depression. Alone without relatives and child support. Timing happens. Last week to cram and chaos hits.

I just now read your post. Sounds really rough. I hope things are better now with your teenagers. It is so tough without family or support when the sh*t hits the fan. I am in awe that you had this going on when you are sitting for these exams. Since you are halfway there, all I can say is that you are a women on a mission, I admire your tenacity. I hope REG goes better this time around.

Since my older daughter is having a hard time with Mommy studying and working all the time now, we made a sort of date for tomorrow. I have to go into the office for a few hours, so I told her to pack her bag with stuff to keep her busy so she can come to work with Mommy tomorrow. I didn't think she'd actually go for it, but she did and she's coming to work with me tomorrow. She pack so much stuff in her backpack that I asked her “how long do you think Mommy's working tomorrow??” This will be interesting, but if she's good maybe I'll bring her in again.

My husband's working too tomorrow so my Dad's watching the little one for us. Since Jackie coming to work with me it'll make it a little easier on my Dad just to have the little one.

I have a hard time getting my studying in on the weekends too! My DH is pretty supportive. He has pretty much taken over all of the household chores… I even forgot our anniversary Saturday! Worst wife ever! I said I think we are even because he spent the day fishing with his friend knowing it was our anniversary? What is up with that? He did bring me flowers… Redemption? I really don't care.

My kids are 5 and 1, my 5 year old is going to go visit my mom for the week before my exam. I have some backup babysitters on speed dial… My DH has been working out of town for weeks at a time. Like he's gone for 3 weeks then home for a week. Needless to say I have to do some chores when he is gone but he pretty much returns home to a disaster zone. 🙁 Which is hard on both of us… I feel guilty but I'm doing my best.

FAR - 7/13 - 72, 11/13- 74, 2/14- 82!!! Best score ever (for me)!!!
BEC - 1/14 - 75!!! Perfect score! First Pass! YAY!!!
AUD - 8/14 - 80!!!
REG - 5/14 - 72, 10/14 - 66, 1/15 - 78 - DONE FOREVER!!!
I did 5 of the UNA and CPAExcel classes to earn units.
