Keep scoring in the 60's

Hey guys just looking for some advice. So I am using the Becker material and I took BEC as my first exam. I was able to pass and I was feeling great. I took FAR,REG,and AUD and scored in the mid to upper 60’s on each of them which was a huge confidence killer. When I was using the study material I did not memorize questions and felt like I was able to break down the information to get to the right answer. When I took the exams the sims always seemed to be tough but I felt like my knowledge of the material would help me get through them. Obviously the study method I am using is getting me close to the score I need but it’s not enough. I don’t know how to improve it though since I am able to understand the material when I study. Has anyone ever felt like they were doing well while studying but failing these exams? Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do to get that higher score and pass the remaining exams? Thanks guys.

I thought I studied well enough to pass AUD the first time, but got knocked out by the SIMS. I got ‘easier' SIMS on my second try. I think the questions you get on an exam can make a difference, but others may say there are no excuses.

I would suggest that you don't skip around taking exams. Stick with one or two until you pass them and then move on. How are you with time management on exams? What did your reports tell you? Are you really, *really* reading the questions on exam day?

You may not think you've memorized the MCQ, but it happens easily. You may want to consider getting another test bank in addition to Becker. It really all depends on you, how you learn, and the answer to some of the above questions.

I added the NINJA Notes this Go around. In addition, after working through MCQs and SIMs, I rewrote EVERYTHING (notes, solutions, hints etc.).

It really helped : got my FAR score from a 60 to a 76!!!

It sounds like you just need an extra boost πŸ™‚

    Good Luck!!!

    3XBEC:75 * 4XREG:82 * 4XFAR:76 * 7XAUD:77

    Thanks for the help guy.

@10key what did you do differently after failing AUD the first time? What were the extra steps you took even though you walked in feeling ready?
