    No – my motives are purely selfish.

    I wanted Oklahoma State to play in the NC game…opening up a Fiesta Bowl spot for KSU or Oklahoma…Fiesta Bowl gets their pick. KSU travels extremely well and OU has been there several times over the past 5 years.

    Now it looks like my alma mater will have to settle for the Cotton Bowl at best…still good, but I was hoping for BCS 🙂

    Gotcha. Oklahoma should be playing for the championship but they can't beat the teams they're supposed to. I'm a Tennessee fan and would kill to be in the Cotton Bowl. I just hope it's not an all SEC championship game. That would be boring.

    I was at the 2001 Cotton Bowl…UT vs KSU…COLD day…
