I recently put my notice in and I’m planning on doing 80-100 questions a day so I can slay this beast by christmas. I already passed reg….is 80-100mc’s a day a super turbo boost amount of material to cover assuming it’s WTB and CPAEXCEL that I’m using in conjunction, or is it a little baby dolphin fin amount of work to do? Somedays I will take a break and watch the videos…maybe, but for REG it was just doing mc and using Jeff’s notes which helped me out the most..

Haha I'm not exaggerating, trust me. Hopefully I don't come off like I'm bragging about it or anything either, because I don't want to look snobby about it. Like I said, this was a final review thing, over a three day span. This obviously isn't the norm for me (not even close). Over the rest of my study time, I do my MCQ's pretty sporadically (100 today, 100 a few days later, etc.) so this is definitely an anomaly from the rest of my studying procedures. I would literally wake up and study until I went to bed, otherwise something like this wouldn't really be possible.

21 hours a day in the hospital does not sound possible though haha. When I was doing this, I definitely wasn't doing 21 hour days, and it was only over a three day span like I said. I could probably push a fourth day out of it, but anything beyond that would have been complete overkill for me. It's a worthwhile sacrifice to get a passing score for me; I'd rather suffer an intense study session leading up to the exam then fail and have to start from scratch.

    BEC: 88 (8/27/13)
    FAR: 93 (12/3/13)
    REG: 92 (2/27/14)
    AUD: 95 (4/22/14)

@kmm1216–I absolutely think 600 per day right before the test is possible. It is clear that you already knew the material and you weren't using those 3 days to learn the material. Your test scores have proven that your method works for you and I am impressed. There is big difference between doing 600 a day during the learning phase and 600 during the quiz phase. I am a fast test taker as well and people tend to forget that even with FAR there are a lot of concept questions as well as calculation question. You obviously knew the material enough to be able to fly through the concept questions, which can be done in a matter of seconds and have a little more time to spend on the computational questions. Even with computational questions if you know the material well enough you could probably read the question quickly and know right away how to do the calculation. You don't need to defend your study methods to anymore. Your scores are all the proof you need. Good luck AUD! I'm sure you'll do great!

If I did 600 mc a day I would get a 100…no questions asked…my score would be perfect.

LOL, you guys are nuts. I think that I did 600 MCQs TOTAL for FAR and got an 82 (would've scored higher with better time management). I did 200 TOTAL for BEC and got an 89. I can't imagine doing 600 in a single day. That is ten hours at 1 minute per question! I think at most I did 40-50 per day but I took my time so that I understood WHY I was getting each question right or wrong. Either way to each his own….

    FAR - 11/26/13 - 82
    BEC - 01/10/14 - 89
    AUD - 04/03/14 - 84
    REG - 08/14/14 - 83
