In need of a new study plan

I am new to this site, after hearing great things about it, I knew I needed to join. My goal in 2012 is to pass this exam.

I failed FAR in Nov 2011 and am going to retake it in mid Feb. I am redoing the questions from the Wiley book and writing down the questions I got wrong along with the notes from Rogers. I am about to finish FAR-4. I do have some time before I take the exam, but I feel like I am wasting my time. Should I be focusing on practice exams and focusing on the weak areas instead of going over everything again?

Welcome Purple! Sorry to hear about FAR! You'll get it next time! My advice, and I am sure a lot of members will agree, is to start from fresh. Forget about what you saw on your previous exam because you will not see the same topics. I know it takes forever to start from scratch (tell me about- I failed AUD last window) but I can assure you the topics will begin to make more sense and you'll have a lot of ‘aha!' moments. Good luck to you!

Thanks for the input….you just gave me that extra push that I needed. I will keep pluging away. As I am writing this, I picture that train from “the little engine that could” trying to get over the hill. “I think I can..I think I can…” haha!!

Good luck to you as well!

Thanks for the feedback….you just offered me that additional force that I required. I will keep pluging away. As I am composing this, I photo that practice from “the little website that could” trying to get over the slope. “I think I can..I think I can…”
