Do not feel guilty when you need to take the night off!!!! NOT allowed!!!!!!

It's important to listen to your body and take a “mental health” when you feel at capacity. When I was preparing for my first round with FAR late this summer I had a “no breaks, must cram 24/7, you are a wimp if you stop” mentality and when I didn't pass I completely fell apart! I had an unreasonable attitude and made unrealistic expectations for myself…I suffered tremendously for it when I received my 72! Taking a night off every now and again does wonders for my mental well being. I also don't play the guilt game with myself anymore. The E.L.L plan is great for striking a balance of life and study, check it out! πŸ™‚

If you're exhausted, you're probably wasting your time trying to study anyway. Take a break and recharge so you can study with a clear, focused mind.

One of the most important tips I learned while studying for these beasts is that you SHOULD take a break when you're exhausted. If you're not retaining as much info anymore or you notice you are missing more MCQ than usual.. give yourself a little bit of time off. If you don't, you won't be giving as much time/energy as you should into the material and weeks later, when you are reviewing, you will notice you glazed over some of the material..

    FAR 7/3/13 - 82
    BEC 8/21/13 - 82
    AUD 10/2/13 - 92
    REG 12/3/13 - 88

    DONE!!!! CA Candidate
    Beat the 12/31/13 clock!

Thank you guys! Your comments are very helpful. I see my face in the mirror and I see how exhausted I'am so I plan to watch a movie this weekend and just take a deep breath and forget a bit about this!
